#298 of 306 Bluetooth phone

Thank you avarta1 and papadoc1.
I have a cheap phone with no bluetooth. I do not use cell phone unless there is no land phone and I have to make a call. I might have a wrong impression that some high-end cars have built in phones.
#299 of 306 2011 Trunk storage
Mar 29, 2011 (5:24 am)
Under the trunk floor, I see two hooks one on left one on right side. Wonder how I can use them since they are under the floor. And to the right of the spare tire, there is a space with two threaded holes, towards the seat back, not sure what they are for.
I am still slowly reading the owner's manual.

I asked my dealer about the space next to the spare tire. He said it was for the battery. Now battery is moved to some other place so the weight distribution is closer to 50/50.
As for the Agility Control, is it only with 4Matic (I think), or all C-class has that?
#301 of 306 2008 C-300 won't start
Oct 08, 2012 (1:30 pm)
I have a 2008 C-300 MBZ Lux...This morning I got in my car and turned the key...nothing...checked battery and it has full charge. Drove it on Sat (sat for 1 day) with no problems. I live in an area where the nearest dealer is 200 miles away. The car won't even go into neutral for towing...any ideas?
#302 of 306 Tires-OK to switch to a different brand?
Jun 06, 2013 (12:03 pm)
We have 33,000 (2008 C-300 Lux) and thinking of replacing our tires for safety. A set of 4 Continental ContiProContact 225/45 R17 91H (original) will set us back a $1000.
Passing by TiresPlus dealership, we stopped and got an estimate for a set of 4 Potenza for $603 (all included).
What are the advantages of staying with the original equipment? Continental tires get good reviews.
We drive 6000 miles per year and rarely going over 60 mph.....is this important at all?
Someone said that the difference between an accident and close call could be good tires.

I purchased same tires from discounttiredirect.com....I had no problems with delivery.. tires came had them put on at a tire shop. I paid around $386.00 for four tires, purhcased replacement warranty for under $25.00. After having the tires for a month I hit a pot-hold, called company they sent me a replacement tire at no cost, no hassles...

#306 of 306 OK to get different brand of tires?
Jun 26, 2013 (1:21 pm)
My tires at discounttiredirect.com were 176.00 each.
A mechanic told me that it is better to stick with original brand the car came with. Has MB put Continentals because they got the best deal or .... because they handle better, are quieter, good on wet surface....?
