| I had the same problem with my 2006 Mustang. It has something to do with the "saddle" tank. The dealer can do something with the fill tube. If all else fails, turn the gas nozzle upside down and fill. That seems to work for some reason. Lot of information about it in the allfordmustangs.com Forums. | |

| My Edge gas gauge does the same thing. When the pump cuts off I always round it off. Last time it showed about halfway between 3/4th and full. I drove it a few miles and looked down and it was dead on full. Weird..I also seem to get better gas mileage if I don't top it off?? Right at 22MPG | |

What type gasoline does this vehicle require for the AWD? I can't find it on their websit.

this could cure it if you have the patience to do all this Common blockage issues are with the canister close valve and the canister filter. But you could also have a defective fuel cut valve in the tank or a blocked canister. You could also have a problem with a restricted hose or pipe either not allowing proper venting or not allowing the fuel to enter the tank properly." |
