Has anyone installed a turbo timer on their cx-7? if some which one do you recommend?

You really shouldn't need one - unless you feel forced to go full throttle down your street and into the driveway and then shut the engine off immediately. Taking it easy for the little bit before you get parked and then letting the engine run for less than a minute would probably do it.
 
Synthetic oil is probably a higher overall lifetime cost than a turbo timer, but also has benefits that reach far beyond just letting the engine cool down for a few minutes. Throw Mobil 1 in the thing, and it's really "problem solved."
 
If you're still determined to get a turbo timer (are you planning on driving the CX-7 for 30 years?) then I've heard HKS makes good ones. Professional installation is proabably key, due to all the integration with ignition wires, security, etc.
