COULD THE LOW INPUT OF THE THROTTLE POSITION SENSOR CAUSE MY 2001 JIMMY STALL & ALSO BE THE CAUSE OF THE SERVICE ENGINE SOON LIGHT TO BE ON?I CHANGED GAS CAPS- BUT THE LIGHT IS STILL ON. IS IT HARD TO REPLACE THE THROTTLE POSITION SENSOR?

Yes, that could happen. I recently changed my throttle position sensor on my 99 Jimmy-only took me about 10 minutes. I don't know what year yours is but on the 99 it is located on the right side of the throttle body. You'll have to take off the throttle body cover and you'll need a torx bit(not sure what size) but it is a very easy fix. Hope this helps.

I have a 99, it is located on the right side of the throttle body. May have to take off throttle body cover to see it. If you are sure you need to replace it, go buy one then look for the part on throttle body.
