I have a 2007 Highlander. I’m trying to figure out how to take off the roof carrier cross rails. Does anyone know of a way to take the cross rails off without having to taking the roof rails off?

P.S. I use a paint can lid opener to get underneath the plastic and do the lifting. The little curled-up tip of the tool makes it easier. BE GENTLE! Regards, BGood
