What is this discussion about? Toyota FJ Cruiser, Convertible, SUV

Article comments for First Drive: 2007 NCE FJ Cruiser Convertible - With the top down and the windows raised, the FJ convertible is nearly as temperate and draft-free as the hardtop FJ. Judging by the stares we get (well, except for the guy in the Wrangler straining to avoid eye contact), it's even cooler on the outside. (more)

Do you have a pic... or where I can see it? I've been waiting to see if their gonna be able to modify the FJ for 08 with a removable hardtop, soft top, or a moonroof.

Has anyone heard of any other possible changes for FJ for the '08 model year? I spoke to a toyota representative at the NYC auto show who hinted at a larger selection in colors including "mono's". Also, when is the '08 line due out?

Folks,
If ou are in thi sforum, I am positive you have already seen today's article on Inside line. It is really nice to know that Toyota is considering a top down version seriously.
What is not so heartening is: Is it still going to cost 10K more than a comparable stock FJ? I beleive that is what the conversion kit currently costs.
Any thoughts?
Cheers!!

It's still got that ugly, cheap interior and bloated exterior...but I guess they aren't miracle workers.

Good thing you aren't designing cars then. A lot of people, including myself like the interior and exterior very much. So I would be afraid to see how you would have made them.
