Yeah, thanx for the comments.

I tried to make some sharp left - right manuvers while driving with my friend who used to be a mechanic and we couldn't hear anything... maybe the loose screw found its home.
Nothing on the floor, it probably got wedged somewhere for good.
Otherwise I'll play ping-pong again...

Did you know about the Oil/Filter? by hiwayman

This isn't really a "bug" per se, but it is interesting. I'm a backyard/driveway mechanic. Obviously, there's not much on a hybrid someone like me can do, but at least I thought I could change the oil. I checked the owner's manual. The recommended oil is 0w 20. I thought that was a misprint, so I called the dealership. Yup. 0w 20. Most cars will use something on the range of 10w 30 or maybe a little thicker. Just try to find 0w 20. NO one has it (except Nissan dealers?). I asked the guy at our local autoparts store if I could order a case of 0w 20, and he said he'd check, but he'd never heard of that kind of oil. It can be ordered.....but it's $5.00 a quart. Ouch!

The oil filter is almost impossible to get to as well. You need to jack the car up to get to it, and then you need an arm with two elbows. Additionally, the only brand I could find that would come close to fitting is Bosch. Weird. Our dealership does oil changes for $30.00. Guess we'll be taking the car to Nissan from now on......Looks like my days of backyard tinkering are over. Anyone want to buy some tools?

Someone mentioned on a different forum that they pay $80 for an oil change for the NAH. I dread the day when it's my turn...

0w20 is the prefered oil for hybrids (supposedly the best for start/stopping). my dealership still only has 5w30. should be fine though...but i may change over to 0w20 when it gets cheaper. we need walmart to stock it, =T

to get to the oil filter, try taking off the front passenger side wheel. easier to access now?

It is absolutely terrible!!!! The speakers work fine you can hear very clearly but no on can understand what I am saying. Part of the problem may be too much background noise in the vehicle, but I think there is more of a problem with the system. I have to keep switching off bluetooth and talking into phone directly (have blackberry 8830) but I travel a lot in NY State & don''t want to get nailed for using it.

I spoke to dealer & they will check it out when I bring in for next oil change, but I sure hope it can improved, that perhaps I have a bad mike or something.

Anyone else have any problems with this? Otherwise, I love the vehicle.

I hope that is the case (defective mike) I have even left messages on my answering maching than retreived them & they sound terrible. Most people simply cannot understand me at all. Although I drive in warmer weather with windows open and roof open, would shut them when making calls.

Must tell you, have never had a moon roof wind deflector. Boy, that was well worth the money! After a few minutes you can forget the roof is even open.
