Say you set the volume to 20 and you open the window, the radio should automatically increase the volume to compensate for the added noise from outsidt. Of course this doesn't work, its like the sport ride button, not much difference in ride feel. There is a mic located under the dash to the right if the stearing colomn. Hope this helps.
