I haven't seen where a lot of them get replaced, but have seen a few (Perhaps more in Canada for whatever reason). I think I saw a price of $1200 (us) somewhere but that was a while ago.

I have a 2002......You have to replace the "spindle". There is no bushing kit available to replace the worn out bushing or the "knuckle bushing" I got each spindle for about $230.00 US. not including labor, which, depending on where you get it done. It takes about 1.5 to 2 hours per wheel. GM did a fine job making a bushing that can not be serviced. If you live in an area that has harsh winters & salt is used, you will have to coat the spindle with somethig to ward off or slow the corrosion. hope this helps... oh by the way, if you change the spindle and have not ever change the rear bearings, you might want to consider this at that time.....
Like I said, gm real fouled up on some if not a majority of the manufacture of the parts need for the Aztek. It is a great concept car that was not thought out. I am strongly considering trading "up" for a foreign suv.
