Besides, all these comparos are 2 years old. LOL Good point! I'm sure that a 2009 328i would lose out in any comparison test that included a 2009 Aura or Malibu.

Remember, bankers on both sides of the pond used to write that home values will always go up so it was ok to always refinance, look where we ended up. At least those bankers followed through with trading the Mortgage Backed Securities. If you missed the point, then you missed it, no need to repeat it here. Mr Roadburner, thanks for noticing the spelling mistakes, but some of us half your age are at work nad have not time to spell check as we type. But go ahead and correct them, its a true service to community.

An engine which has been on the Wards top ten list for years, and has won several awards to date. That engine is found in the 335i. Now lets get back to comparing the Aura with the 328i. Here is my honest opinion: -Looks, subjective no one wins here. -Interior room, Aura -Handling, Of course 328i, no doubt about that, everyone knows this -Reliability, same, there are both rated average by JD Powers -Perfomance (0-60/1/4 mile/roadholding/slalom) same none of the two cars really surpasses the other by much here to be able to say one is better. -Residual value not sure, both cars seem to be giving me about 45-55% residual using a base 07 model after 51,000 miles using KBB. -Equipment, well here I use a 328i worth 37k (base model plus sport package only) and a fully loaded Aura worth 27k, $10,000 less and the Aura is far ahead. In fact a fully loaded Hyundai Elantra is ahead as well, LOL. Maintenance costs, I guess you cannot argue with free maintenance. I think based on this, both cars are similar but since the Aura is not even trying to be a luxury car or a perfomance sedan, but is at par with a car that is shooting to be like its big brother, the Aura wins, just for the simple fact that it is not even trying.
