Makes you wonder if it was really related to the install of the remote start - maybe the dealer screwed up and is just blaming the BOS?

Yeah, that is the first thing I thought of when she told me. Seems like an odd coincidence!!! I have to take mine in this week for an oil change and that darn rattle in the back, so I'll ask my dealer about it and let you guys know.

Early production EDGE?....in July?....when the 08 are about to be released?....when you can not get an EDGE the way yu really wanted because there not so many available?....I smell a rat here...that is the reason why I believe those remote starters (as well as any other electronics)if they don't come from factory I don't want to know about...

I'm having the same problem regarding the rattle in my 2007 ford edge. It is the clips in the sunroof. I have had my car in twice to the dealer (we bought the car 6 weeks ago) and I have another appointment today for the same problem. They have already replaced the clips twice (broken) but as soon as you open the roof and then close it, the clips break. Our service advisor said it is a design defect. The rattle drives me crazy and it just seems to get worse.

Thanks for the reply. I haven't had it back in yet but I plan to in the spring when I can actually open it again  Mine seems to be worse when the sun-shade is closed.
