I have a 2001 Monte Carlo with a CD radio and On Star. The radio turns on but has no sound. The dealer tells me it is the amplifier that is bad, and repair will cost $650. Seems a little high for an amp, but he will be glad to bypass the amp for only $350. This also seems a little high. Any suggestions?
