Thanks to all for their insight! I bought a 2007 Highlander Hybrid about 2 weeks ago and couldn't be happier with it! So far gas mileage has been great. Drove from Williamsburg, VA to the suburbs outside Philadelphia on one tank of gas. We'll see how well it does with local travel now. Glad I went with the Hybrid - every time I see some huge SUV or massive truck belching out all that Carbon I at least know I'm doing my part to save Mother Earth!

The Toyota Prius and the Honda Civic Hybrid meet or exceed this requirement. There are no gas only cars that meet this requirement. All hybrids get better fuel economy than the equivalent gas only cars on the Highway. Yes, the EPA numbers have changed. Hybrids still get better mpg than the gas only versions. |
