Just visited the Hyundai dealer, and again they squarely deny the existence of the kit U8558-00100, despite the print out from Hyundai Accessories website, so I ordered it from there on-line. Judging from the size, I guess the modulator is not fully based on integrated circuits an fixed frequencies, but has coils that can be tuned to reach a different band range. Hello!  I bought my VZ 08 awd limited last april and had the aux jack installed so i can play my ipod in my car( basically its just a fm transmitter) The 09's have a new aux that has the audio output and the usb thing as well. This would go through the stereo and show songs titles and everything instead of going through the radio. I was at the parts place today, getting my car serviced and asked if there is a way to get t his new aux jack in replacement of mine 08 fm transmitter jack. One guy said no, another yes, another no... Some guy said it would have to all be completely rewired and everything.... Just wondering if anyone has an 08 and knows about possibly upgrading to the new 09 feature somehow for the ipod, i would love to play my ipod through my stereo without fm radio.. I dont know about anyone else but i think the stereo quality is better than just radio .... maybe its just me though. Also just ordered a cargo tray, they didnt have any in stock but hope to get it soon. Please let me know about this ipod feature, im not technical or anything, so dont use hard technical words please lol thanks!!!!! Hyundai's website says the GLS 2WD comes with a AM/FM/XM/CD/MP3 audio system with six speakers & iPod/USB/aux input jacks. But it doesnt have any input jacks. WTF Is that false advertisment or what. check it out yourself and tell me what you think? Another issue is they show that you can put the front seat down forwards. But you cant. I think its time to call a lawyer. This time, we asked the service guy if an 09 radio would fit it (hoping to get the aux input if there is one...sounds like only on the DVD version?). Anyway, he said it would not fit. I was disappointed that the 07 didn't have an aux input (even the Jetta has), but I'm astonished the 09 STILL does not. See my earlier posts for my review on what a piece of crap the Hyundai aux input is (I had it taken out after having it put in). Still in search of a solution, and will update you all when I find one.

Replying to: bigjohn4100 (Jun 11, 2009 5:31 pm) I'm afraid that looking at a 2009 spec list and hoping that all of the features will also be on a 2008 model is going to disappoint you. Don't waste your money on a lawyer unless you can find something that refers to the model year you actually have.   As far as the "excelleration" is concerned, many folks have commented that the Genesis seems a bit slow simply because it's so smooth and goes about it's business without a lot of fuss and bother. Time a 0-60 run and see how that goes, but don't expect sub 7 seconds.

Can anyone tell me if the remote control and the 2 sets of headphones are included with the 2008 VC Limited /RES. I just bought one and I didn't get any of these items. I'm not interested in a transmitter set up.   Also, is there an easy way to hook up a back-up camera so the nav screen shows the back of the vehicle when in reverse?   I'm hoping maybe the stock unit has some inputs for these items perhaps for 2010 upgrades or something.   Thanks in advance for any feedback on this! Anybody knows where to get a double din dash kit for installing an aftermarket in dash GPS? The factory in-dash GPS is lacking compared to units offered by Pioneer, Kenwood and Eclipse, ie: no IPOD control, built-in bluetooth and back-up camera connection.
