I was IN LOVE with the CLK63 AMG Black Series after driving it, but alas $130,000 is a bit hard to swallow. For half the price, you are getting essentially the same package in the C63 AMG. While my friends are running out to get expensive cars like the Porsche GT2 and Ferrari F430, I am plenty happy with this lil gem. Its more than about going fast. The way the seats embrace me like a long lost lover, the way the steering wheel feels perfectly in my hands, the mounds of tire shredding torque shoving me violently back into my seat, the wonderful growl of the AMG V8... its a loud and violent brute that could care less what others think of it. Opted not to get the sport pkg. due to the rough ride, but was wondering how you go about re-tuning the engine to put out the 500+ horses. Can you also bypass the 155mph limit to attain 186mph? There isn't C63 AMG specific upgrades available, yet. Considering many models with the AMG 6.2L V8 are making over 500hp, a simple tweak of the ECU should be enough to do the trick. I suggest you check out www.evosport.com and contact them. You can check out what they've done to their CLK63 AMG Black Series to make 598hp. It is likely they will have something for the C63 soon enough.
