Article comments for Full Test: 2008 Mercedes-Benz C350 Sport - This week, we managed to pry a 2008 Mercedes-Benz C350 away from its press introduction in Portland, Oregon, and drove it all the way back to our offices in Santa Monica, California. Replying to: 500lbman (Sep 09, 2007 1:56 pm) THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!!! I live in Germany and in the past 15 years I'm had the following BMW 320, BMW 525, Audi TT Roadster. I just odrer a 2009 C350 and can wait until June when I ge it. As for the BMWs...I had problems with both and maintanence was nuts. The TT was a great car, But Audi staff was not. So far, my dealings with the Mercedes staff in great. Mercedes driver do not just want a great car...we want great cars, great staff, great service. An no other car give us all...but Mercedes....Keep up the great work.....I will never buy any other car....Mercedes for life.

Is it me is has edmunds made some mistakes. Ive been on other car sites and they have the C350 weighing in at over 3600 lbs. curb weight. I think either the C350 is under-rating the horsepower or the 0-60 is from a roll and edmunds is lying to us. My maxima weighs 3473 and has 3 less horsepower and is just as fast as the C350 if not faster(havent test driven). I was planning on upgrading to a real luxury sport sedan and starting to lean towards the G35 or maybe even drop the luxury and go for the G8. I cant believe i thought about trading up to this. If I could afford it i would go all the way and get the 335. It seems that the C350 is made to compete with my 04 maxima, toyota avalon, and other entry level sedans and has lost ground on BMW.
