Regarding the pervasive disbelief at my Pilot's MPG, I'll leave the math to you. 114 miles on 3.67 gallons double clicked on the fill and refill. The purpose in my comments was not to elicit belief in mileage figures, but rather to find out if anyone knew if Honda was considering putting the variable cylinder management system in the Honda Ridgeline. Replying to: huff2 (Sep 16, 2008 8:03 am) A member of the Honda Pilot forum stated - Partial tank calculations are extremely inaccurate. you'll need at least 3 full tank calculations to get a ballpark average.   Members of the Honda Pilot forum are reporting between 13 mpg and 18 mpg city and between 17 mpg and 23 mpg highway for the 2009. 13 to 15 mpg city is common according to owners reports.

Replying to: huff2 (Sep 16, 2008 8:03 am) Such a small tank allows for large errors in calculations (not your fault, but rather that of the gas pump). I believe you report what you found truthfully, but it is important to note that the smaller thank, the larger the margin of error.

Replying to: blufz1 (Aug 06, 2009 5:44 am) I would be very interested in an extended truck bed, although I have successfully transported 20 sheets of 4x8 drywall in my '06 Ridge. A six and a half-foot bed would be ideal, and I think Honda would find many more buyers.

Purchased:2009 Ridgeline RT. Tried the Cash-for Clunkers, missed the mpg by 1mpg. Old vehicle 1993 Ford Explorer XLT. Liked the truck, purchased anyway. Question: I would like to add the outside temp indicator to display. I assume the wiring is the same for all Ridgeline models! Any way of getting schematics for Free? Thanks.
