It's kinda' funny how we get our heads around things sometimes. I drive a Frontier Crew Cab, initially didn't like the appearance at all, until I bought it. Now I'm glad I didn't buy the King.
Looks are at the bottom of my priority list.
We see a few Ridgeline's on our roads, and am now familiar with them and haven't heard a negative at all from any owner that I've talked to.
You enjoy your Ridge, I'll enjoy my Fronty.

Safe driving!

Ridgeline has ridges that evoke the body cladding look of the Ponticraps of the 80's. The look did not work for Pontiac, did not work for Subaru Baja, and it does not work for the Ridgeline. Honda should clean up the exterior on the Ridgeline and the Pilot would be a good model.
Perhaps Honda designers were enamored with the Subaru Baja and felt the Ridgeline needed some visual distraction from the rest of the vehicle.
Never said the Ridgline had actual body cladding. You need to take a closer look at the ridgeline, it does not have any body cladding and never has had any, unlike the chevy avalanche that you must be thinking about. Ugly is in the eye of the beholder
Ugly is only skin deep on the Ridgeline!

When do you guys think Honda will do the obvious 2 dr extended cab variant of the Ridgeline. I guess the bed would be about 6.5. What do you think?

Dude, you've been wrong so many times. I take that as a "more likely than not" in the future.

Your statement is B.S. Unless you can prove it, which will be darn difficult to do since it is false.

Dude is a RUDE form of address.

Mobad. This is just conversation and it seems logical since the extended cab is the most popular style of Pickup. Now, doesn't that seem reasonable?

I'll vote for 3.0 on diesel displacement for 2009. What do you think?

Certainly no smaller than that. My guess is in the 3.5L range.

Should be interesting. At 3.0 L it would have over 325 ft pounds of torque and maybe 25/30 mpg. I see the R as a light duty/economy truck not a body on frame 9000 lb capacity work truck. They could add maybe 50,000 to annual sales.
