I'm trying to decide between these two cars for which I have similar lease deals on the table.   The GLI is sigificantly more fun to drive, and the DSG transmission is simply amazing. I love the brakes and the look of the car, and the huge trunk space is a help. Unfortunately, it's assembled in Mexico and overall seems more pedestrian in comparison with the Acura.   The TSX is made in Japan, its got a nicer interior and lots of cool/luxury bits to it, plus its got the greatest NAV system to ever grace the inside of a car. But the brakes are horrible and the acceleration is only so-so due to its hefty curb weight. Steering also yeilds to the VW.   Then for me there's a strange twist: I already leased a TSX for three years - one of the first batch that arrived back in 2003. Although there's been some MMC changes since (slightly revised front/rear; bluetooth and Zagat added to NAV), I will likely grow tired of driving the same car for another three years. Did you have alot of maintanance on your TSX?   I sent alot emails in to dealers, and they all fought for my business. I got a really good deal on the TSX for $349 with navi. $329 without navi. Also the deal is with 0 down on the lease. Which I say it AWESOME!. Did you have deals like that?? or lower?? I am still lost, like you, I want to get the right car and deal. Also be practical as well. Closest Acura dealer is 1hr away, I need to go look! I have to stay with honda/Acura due to I am in a accord lease already.   I make my decision by the end of this month.
