Sentra vs. Versa by sherrig

I'm sure this has been asked a million times, but I need to know! What are the big differences between the Sentra and Versa sedans? I feel like I am getting cross eyed over figuring out what d*mn car to buy; I really liked the Sentra today that I tested, but maybe a Versa would be ok for me.

Any info would be so appreciated because I just want to make a decision and into my new car!

thanks

Here's a start:

* Styling (obviously!)
* Sentra has a little more interior room overall than the Versa, but...
* I think the Versa has more usable rear leg room than the Sentra, especially on the SL on which you can raise the driver's seat and move it forward for lots of foot room for the rear passenger
* Power - more in even the base Sentra, yet fuel economy is pretty close
* Performance variants available for the Sentra (SE-R, SE-R Spec V)
* Versa is lower priced
* Larger wheels/tires available on the Sentra
* Dash is a little more upscale on the Sentra
* Sentra has the trunk organizer option, more overhead storage
* (not sure on this) Sentra's rear seat folds nearly flat; Versa's has a "step" (is that true on the Versa sedan? It is on the hatch)

I test drove both recently and chose the Versa even though the dealer was selling the comparable Sentra for $200 less. The Versa was a more enjoyable car to drive. I liked the way it cornered and it had (for me and my wife) a better road feel. The Sentra reminded us more of the Honda Accord we were replacing. The Versa felt like a step up. These are subjective opinions. What's objective is the usable space. I'm 6'3" with long legs. I adjust all front seats as far back and as low as they go. With the Versa, I can have the driver's seat all the way back and still fit comfortably in the rear seat. For storage, there's no comparison. The Sentra is limited just like our Accord. The Versa holds stuff the Sentra could not even consider. I built two portable risers that make the floor level in the Versa if I need it. Otherwise, the storage configuation in stock format is excellent. Drive both and consider what you want your vehicle to carry. The decision should be fairly easy at that point.
