I'm sure you got your answer by now, but in case you didn't, there are two handles under the seat on the left side. First you pull the left one up and fold up the seat bottom (the seat back has to be in upright position before you start). Then you pull the right handle up and toward you and pull the seat forward by the bar that goes across. Once the seat has started moving, If you let it go of the handle and continue moving it you will hear it click into place at the next position.

'99-'02 Second Row Bench Seat by jr714

I hope someone on here can help!

Since I bought my '02 Quest 3 1/2 years ago, I have been searching for somewhere to buy a 2nd row bench seat (mine is the SE with the 2nd row captain's chairs). Twice I thought I found it, but when I came to pick it up it was the 3rd row

I live in western PA, but I would be willing to travel pretty far to get it.

Please help if you can!

People in the Tahoe discussions are always trying to swap seats but no one has ever made the swap work that I can recall. I threw my '99's 2nd row bench away years ago since I knew I'd never use it (and I've yet to miss it). Even if I still had it, the freight would be substantial and the color probably wouldn't match.

Another thing to check are the bolt holes. The bench seat may not line up with your captain's chairs holes, and the bolt holes are carefully reinforced. You wouldn't want to drill new holes in your floor pan since they would probably fail in an accident.

I assume you've called some area salvage yards and asked them to do a computer search?

Keep an eye on EBay.... tons of part stores sell used parts there.
