Hi, I am selling a 2003 AM/FM Bose CD/Cassette player. I only used it for 2 months. I purchased the 6 CD player for my trailblazer. Does anyone out there in need of one? If so email me at bgordils
sbcglobal.net
Thanks.

Do you know how this interfaces with the standard (non Bose) speaker system? I have an 04 TB (EXT) CD/Cassette player with a speaker in each door plus tweeters in the dash which don't seem to be hooked up. I just talked to an audio guy who recommended a single wire system for the front door speaker and tweeter because he was afraid a serparate wire to the tweeters might fry the player. Any info on this would be appreciated.

he didn't mention his has a built in sub circuit .. otherwise i think it'd be compatible with stock speakers. Just keep in mind, stock speakers are cardboard, sound pretty bad. You'd be wasting $ by buying Bose deck and leaving stock speakers
If it doesn't have built in amp (all decks have basic 20W/ch output) then you can use single wire per speaker.
I replaced the stock ones with Alpine 290W - 2way component speakers on the front doors (speaker at the bottom, and drilled new holes for tweeters up near glass) and 2way Alpine speakers in the rear. No additional amp used. 4 wires go into mp3/USB deck nicely and it sounds very nice. I don't like subwoofer WOOFing and 2 loud, so this setup turned out perfect 4 me.
Look this up on eBay: KENWOOD DPX502. perfect replacement for BT stock stereo.
