#97 of 169 Buick Enclave leaking oil
by niniloa

Hello everyone. I have a 2008 Buick Enclave its sad and I am not happy. This vehicle have been giving me problem after problem. I have it appears the same problems listed by others, from new transmission, power stearing noise.. and now the leaking of engine oil. I have taken my vehicle into the dealership again! were a dye has been placed inside to locate the leak. The cost of repairs currently is unknwon, it being GM the cost could be in the thousands.
Question, should I let go and just let the vehicle die leaving it sitting on the street?
Reading each of your past and current posts lets me know I am not the only living this nightmare!!
#98 of 169 Air Conditioning Issue

My problem is not as serious as others posted in this forum but it does bother me. I have a 2011 Enclave with 7,000 miles on it. My problem is my car idles at 2 RPMs--600 and 800. At 600 there is no noise when the a/c is on (only normal duct noise) --however, if the engine idles at 800 RPMs I get a resonating noise--like a boom box base. I have had it in for service twice and have now been told that this is normal. Has anyone had this problem? I love the Enclave but probably will go back to Lexus if I cannot resolve this problem.

#101 of 169 Fast blinking turn signal

The right turn signal is blinking faster than the left. The front and mirror lamps are blinking, but the rear is not. I checked the rear lamp. It is not burned out. Is the issue related to the switch? If so, where is the switch?

Google Buick Enclave Service bulletin...there are several regarding your problem. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE file a complaint on the BBB...I will be writing mine out this week.. I went from July 19, 2011 without my enclave or a loaner car thru the last week of October! it went in under a warranty code that popped up on the display and they gave me my car back running like crap....they dropped it off with my son and when i called they said they'd lost enough working on my car. Buick National is worthless...I finally found a dealership that immediately realized my problems were in a service bulletin....if ANY enclave goes up on a lift more than a few hours, the struts go bad...even brand new ones! and the car then rides like a bucking horse!

Red49ok,
Have you, since the last week of October, been with your vehicle? Has the concern been resolved? If Customer Assistance can be of service to you (following up with the dealership, setting up a Service Request case, looking into warranty/recall information on your vehicle), please don’t hesitate to email us with your name/user name, contact information, the last 8 digits of your VIN, and your preferred dealership.
Best,
Sarah

I have a 2010 cxl FWD. Battery went dead when car was 2 weeks old. Just sitting in the garage for 5 days. Dealer checked it out, found nothing wrong. (Got the car nice and filthy dirty though) Anyway, here's what I have done and it never went dead again. Everytime you shut the car off make sure you're out of reverse and in park for 30 seconds or so before you turn the key off. Then get out of the car, shut the door and lock the car with the key holder right away. I read about this online and I never had another problem again. May be a pain but it's better than the dealership getting grease all over the car and fixing nothing!

I need information on damage to struts after being on left. This happen to my Enclave today while dealer was repairing steering. Above 45 mph the car starts bucking, which can be seen from another car.
