Replying to: beancivic (May 03, 2007 9:24 pm) 2001 Had issues with the CVT's after 2002 there uncommon but not unheard of. 1998 - 2000 it had the regular tranny in it. Consider getting an extra tank installed in the trunk will help you with range instead of 200-240 miles you'l get 400 -450 miles out of it. I've done this for many of my customers   Murphy

I don't know the dimensions of the installed tank and how much room is left. Can you install another factory 8 gallon tank on top of the existing one or is there not enough room? If not what is the biggest tank i could fit in there. I could get buy without trunk space. Replying to: epnfrn (May 04, 2007 7:35 am) I have a 99 GX and it has worked out great for me, saves me a lot of dough. I am fairly sure that my 99 has the same size tank as the new ones, 8gge.
