#10 of 29 Headlight problems

I have a 97 camaro with the headlights that come on automatically when it gets dark. The low beams do not come on, but the high beams will. I have tried replacing the low beam bulbs, but that doesn' t work. I have also tried to turn on the headlights manually with the switch on the dash and that doesn't work either.
Is there a fuse or relay just for the low beams? How can I tell if it is the headlight switch or the multi-function switch on the column that has the turn signals, wipers, and cruise control?

there is typically three wires on the back of the headlight bulb. 1 wire for high and 1 wire for low and 1 common. but it sounds like the high low swicth to me. does the car have daytime running lights?

I also have a 97 camaro with the same problem. The low beams do not work at all. I looked for a fuse but there isn't one in the engine compartment or the dash fuse boxes. I called the local Chevrolet dealer and they don't seem to know either. If you find out let me know. John

head lamps may not have a fuse per say it may be a fusable link. but a simple voltage presents test will tell you if you have a high low switch problem

hi i have a '99 camaro and whenever im driving down the road my radio and power windows will suddenly turn off. sometimes it will come on within a few minutes, other times it wont come back for days. if i run over speed bumps or large pot holes and it shakes the car it does the same thing. also, my heater quit working so i replaced the radiator and it still isnt working so great. any suggestions?

as far as your heater goes, is there a wet spot in the carpet on the passenger side front floor board (were you put your feet) ? if so you need a heater core and if not does your blower work or maybe you have a faulty heater valve. my advise is if you've never replaced a heater core seek help it will save a lot of frustration. as too your radio and power windows you have a bad connection some where ,start at the switch and work your way back. my 91's switches are in the center concle between the seats and after some time a litle dirt and grease will find there way into the switches followed buy a splash of dr. pepper and drops of hot sauce, and run a current threw it any things possible.
