Hi! I've acquired a 1994 z-28 convertible. The car has 49,000 original miles but every time I make a turn the rear axle makes this horrendous noise. Now the engine is making a weird noise, almost like the sound of the catalytic converter's heat shield. the car has never been in the snow and is stored all winters so what could this be? please help?

Hi, I have a '93 Camaro and am having window troubles with it. The motors seem o.k. but the windows only go part way down and stop or they go clear down and can't get them to go back up. Is it the switch or could it be the track?

ouch... at first i was looking at getting a 2000 camaro with a 5.7L v8 and a 6 speed manual for 9 grand, but due to the problems you guys are discussing, and to the bad reviews given by british car review show, TOP GEAR on the Corvette C6 (camaros have similar or same engines and trannys as Corvette) with the sloppy, non-gripping rear leaf springs and clumsy shifting 6 speed manual with flimsy body panels that don't stand up in a crash and will cost greatly to fix, i think I'll stick with a 20 year old BMW in excellent condition. I've never seen such a fast conversion in myself to go from wanting imports, to "oh, I'll give a domestic a try since I have an okay domestic," then back to "what?!? oh my god, thank god I didn't buy a domestic yet!!"

Hello I have a 1993 Camaro and my windows started doing the same thing, the windows will go up and down part of the time and then they act like they run out of energy and have to get recharged then in a minute or two they will work for a couple of seconds then they stop again and they work like this all the time. The passenger side does not work at all only the driver side. I bought new door window switches and had them installed but that was not the problem for the windows still work or dont work whenever they want. I did read somewere that the problem is in the motor it is drawing too much ampage and and shuts its self off. I need a new one to correct the problem, and I have not purchased one as of yet. Please let me know what you find out about the problem.
Thanks Barbara

one wire should be the exciter wire and one for the gauge. but if you don't have 12 volt direct to large red wire you won't get any charge. this is a interally regulated alt. i am guessing. have you checked all grounds and made sure you don't have a fuse or fuseable link somewhere.

Headlight problems

I have a 97 camaro with the headlights that come on automatically when it gets dark. The low beams do not come on, but the high beams will. I have tried replacing the low beam bulbs, but that doesn' t work. I have also tried to turn on the headlights manually with the switch on the dash and that doesn't work either.
Is there a fuse or relay just for the low beams? How can I tell if it is the headlight switch or the multi-function switch on the column that has the turn signals, wipers, and cruise control?
