I do not get why ford did not make stability control as standard feature the car cost over 23,000 USD, i guess ford is trying to save money, The Basic Hyundai Sonata Has Electronic Stability control why can't the Taurus Replies to this message: jasmith52 (May 01, 2007 4:30 pm)

Nonetheless the Taurus gets excellent safety ratings both in crash tests and in real world accident statistics. If I was to be in a crash I'd rather be riding in a Taurus than a Sonata any day. You bought a safe car - now go and enjoy it !
