Also I'm driving a 97 Camry but was thinking about trying to see what the dealer will give me for it. Do you mind sharing what you paid for your RAV 4 and and what you got for the Camry? I assume your Camry was in pretty good shape which mind is not -- it needs struts, back brakes and it's now at the age where it is burning oil at an alarming rate. Replying to: sneyland (Sep 23, 2007 6:10 am) It does not get any worse mileage. The EPA changed the way they compute MPG for 2008. If you look at most cars you will see they are less now too. The new way is supposed to be more realistic.

Replying to: redecorate (Sep 21, 2007 5:13 am) Here in the Seattle area, the Camrys in good shape don't last long. I sold mine (93k miles) for $5300. You won't get near that from a dealer. Check craigslist to see what they are selling for in your area and also check Kelly Blue book to get a realistic selling price. I got the RAV4 for $1500 under MSRP. Not great, but pretty good considering how fast they are selling and the high demand.   I just waxed my the baby (blizzard pearl) and boy does it sparkle! From what I understand, there were no changes from the 2007 to 2008 models. I've got about 300 miles on her and no complaints yet.

Can't find the answer to this anywhere what is the difference between the limited and the base on the 2008? Was thinking of getting the Base 2008 Rav4 with 6cl and 4x4, Edmunds list price for that in both the 2007 and 2008 but when I went to toyota.com and tried to put in the 2008 base and added the 6cl, a prompt came up saying you must select limited. I have ordered the new Savannah color '08 RAV4 Limited 4WD 6cyl, which is awesome, with the xm, mudguards etc. Being a new color, it is hard to come by, so I am still waiting. Someone wrote that the stereo wasn't that great. The one I test drove did not have xm, but was great sounding to me. If you have a 2008 RAV4 and have read the 2007 forum postings, can you comment on such "problems" as cruise control, uncomfortable driver's seat, exagerated EPA MPG numbers, rough ride, and poor standard radio/CD player. Thanks.

I just ordered my new RAV4 v6 Limited with XM radio. Does anyone else out there have the XM and how do they like it?   I also have the new Savannah Color for 08 which is a Taupe color that is sharp on the RAV4 !   Thanks if you have info on the radio.
