Replying to: rdalton823 (Sep 01, 2007 5:19 pm) If you do not do much parallel parking, you will be fine with the rear door opening to the side. My wife actually loves it. It opens just like any side door. She does not have to pull down a heavy gate as she does in our Buick Rendezvous. |

Drives great, is quiet, and I had a very tall person sit in both the front and back and said there was plenty of head room. I was also able to sell my 97 Camry for above Blue Book in less than 12 hours on Craigslist...going to keep buying Toyotas! The stereo rocks too!

Also I'm driving a 97 Camry but was thinking about trying to see what the dealer will give me for it. Do you mind sharing what you paid for your RAV 4 and and what you got for the Camry? I assume your Camry was in pretty good shape which mind is not -- it needs struts, back brakes and it's now at the age where it is burning oil at an alarming rate.

Can't find the answer to this anywhere what is the difference between the limited and the base on the 2008? Was thinking of getting the Base 2008 Rav4 with 6cl and 4x4, Edmunds list price for that in both the 2007 and 2008 but when I went to toyota.com and tried to put in the 2008 base and added the 6cl, a prompt came up saying you must select limited. Do they no longer over the 6cl with the base-do you have to get the limited?

Replying to: msmarge (Sep 18, 2007 2:14 pm) I have ordered the new Savannah color '08 RAV4 Limited 4WD 6cyl, which is awesome, with the xm, mudguards etc. Being a new color, it is hard to come by, so I am still waiting. Someone wrote that the stereo wasn't that great. The one I test drove did not have xm, but was great sounding to me.
