If its the same as the 2000:

Remove top front motor mounts (2)
Remove throttle & cruise control cables from throttle
Remove air intake plumbing
Put trans in neutral
Use ratcheting strap attached to engine lift lug and rotate engine forward about 20-40 degrees & hold
Remove ignition coils
Remove rear plugs

Is it possible to change cyl. 1 and 2 ignition coil w/out removing air intake, throttle and cruise cables, but just a few inches w/ the ratchet strap?

I've never tried so I can't say for sure - it only takes a couple of minutes at most to remove the intake plumbing and the 2 cables so why take the chance of damaging something...

Diagnostic read 'misfire cyl1' changed all plugs, wires, ignition coils. Still funky on idle, gave 3 doses + of cleaning additive, and changed air filter. next morning; 0 degrees to boiling in 3 minutes, replaced thermostat. NO Help. Now running super rough, and fluctuating between normal temp. and crazy hot to warm, Thermostat replaced by cert. mechanic. WHAT NEXT? Please help!
