Does anybody know if the 2008 will have the navi/bluetooth system? Waiting on it.
The 2008 haven't hit the dealerships just yet.

A kit is available to add Bluetooth, but it replaces the upper sunglass holder.

Oh okay. I can do without the sunglass holder. So if I just want bluetooth I don't need the navi system right?

No you don't need the LG navigation system. It works just fine without the navi. It has it's own speaker. It's made by Johnson Controls which means it's a blueconnect system. If you can live without DVD player and CD changer the navigation system is nice too. Comes with the 605w stereo system.

08's in transit? by tenpin288

I was just speaking to a friend at the local Hyundai dealership, and he says that the 08's are supposed to be moving out to the dealers next week. He was at a sales meeting earlier this week and that was the news he was told. He also called to try and get my wife and I to trade in her 04 Sonata on an 08. Reason for that is that HMFC is now offering 0% APR and 72 month financing in our area on the 08 Sonatas. Tempting!

2008 Santa Fe - nav / ipod hookup by tjnfl

Hyundai has several 2008's at the South Florida International Auto Show in Miami right now... I test drove a Limited at the show that had the navigation system. The Santa Fe's they had inside the exhibit hall didn't have it. The Hyundai personnel said they'll be at dealers soon... and the navigation systems will be available in December (next month). Sadly, none of them come with an auxiliary input jack for the sound system.... NO IPOD HOOKUP! I can't believe it. They told me that dealers will have some kind of kit "for around $14" that will allow an mp3 player to plug in.

If anyone else here has the opportunity to do so, please post a picture of the 2008 Santa Fe navigation system. Thanks.

IMO the only reason to go with a GLS with the 2.7 is to get a manual transmission (which is not available on any other versions of the Santa Fe).

My wife and I both love manual trannies and are so thankful that Hyundai still offers a stick. It's a rarity in the US market.

We are in the shopping phase and don't own a Santa Fe. I only wish that it was a wee bit smaller for better parking in our garage, but so far it's a front runner on my wife's list.
