I was wondering what could be the problem when a 1998 Dodge Avenger makes a knock noise when you go over the slightest bump or dip in the road. It's coming from the back rear. Also, I hear a noise also coming from the back when I am driving really slow and turning left, it sounds as if something is dragging in a way but nothing really is. What might this be? I have a 1996 Avenger. Does any one else have a lot of annoying grunting and groning coming from under the front when I turn the wheel, I get clicking and groaning. also groaning popping sound when going over bumps. I recently had the front end aligned and state inspection at a different place. Both said every thing was good and tight Any ideas? There's NO grease fittings anywhere!
