Hey, if you enjoy Detroit, I hope you stay there, enjoy it, and live to be 100... You and rocky WILL be the only two people left, so why not cut the cost of your telephone and simply share a party line???...

A lot of Americans feel the same way about the greed of the UAW.

"A Fox News/Opinion Dynamics poll conducted Dec. 9-10 found that 43 percent blamed management and executives for the auto industry's plight, while 15 percent blamed labor unions." It isn't just the cars: Lawmakers say executives are 'lemons,' too (McClatchy) |

Replying to: steve_ (Dec 15, 2008 4:12 pm) although not in detroit, i really enjoy going to the henry ford museum/greenfield village. the sense of respect for us history is pretty moving for me. a lot of great old cars, trains, plus a lot of industrial equipment. where else can you see the wright brothers bicycle shop or thomas edisons menlo park lab? there are even houses from connecticut.
