Thanks for taking that one imidazol97. It's more credible coming from someone who is unbiased.

How much labor and parts do you think it costs GM to build a $55K Cadillac STS??? I am willing to bet my left arm that they can fully assemble a STS for well under $20K a unit. I know about 5 years ago they could make a $35K truck for about $14K. Remember those featherbedders you talk so much smack about are only 8.4% of the cost if it is even that high now thus I think you need to pull your head out of the sand and re examine what you are ranting about. It is not the UAW workers fault that a Caddy STS depreciates in half. Maybe if GM would of put a top notch interior in it like they have the CTS and put the ULTRA V8 instead of the old Northstar it might hold it's residual a lot better??? Have you thought about that??? I doubt it!!!! It's the UAW workers fault because he designed and engineered it right???? He told Johnson Controls to cut corners on the fit and finish and quality of plastic to be used right??? Jeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeepers Marsh7!!!!!! You need to pour yourself a drink and chill!!!!

i work at a supplier that makes parts for big 3 plus toyota among others....i have seen all parts receive the same level of attention if their is a problem...we make rubber and steel cases for seals and they are sent to be molded at another factory...in my mind there is no difference between what we make for GM or toyota
