From a mag. known to publish this kind of junk to sell copies! Although it does look nice. There is also a "concept car" (Toyota's term), shown at the German Auto show, that some have interpreted as being the "next Prius". It is rather radical, and unlikely to -be- the next Prius, but again, nice looking car. And there is a third "artists conception" image also floating around, which also looks nice.    Something -factual-. At a car show a Toyota spokesman said there would be no new model until at least 2010. They -may- tweak the current car a bit, but nothing firm or definite. Take this with a little salt - it could have been stated to ensure current sales don't tank - ie it's possible there will be a new model in 2009 (fall 2008) but if everyone was waiting for it the current offering wouldn't sell as well.   They are also working on LiIon batteries for the next model, and another Toyota spokesman reported it's going well.
