Its had 14 injectors replaced, three fuel pumps, six batteries, turbo, y-pipe, wireing harness, o-rings, multiple sensors, seals, and on and on. I have fought and fought with ford and gotten nowhere. I really need a good attorney. The service sucks bigtime, they hate to even see these trucks come in. Its been in 7 different shops for 13 times. Only once was I pulling a trailer, gooseneck with a skidsteer, not like I pull anything heavy or very often. Even if ford put a CAT engine in their trucks, I will never buy another ford again. The service is absolutely terrible and they want stand up and do what is right. Stand behind their product or buy it back. Two of the three ford dealers have shut down (all within 25 miles of my home) you would think they would see why. Come to think of it, 2 of the 3 ford dealers close to me are closed now and in the last year...

The dealer said that b/c I missed an oil change that the oil caused the problem and is not covering the engine that they say now is blown. Oh the truck is an 08 with 20,000 miles on it. I am so pissed that ford comes up with ways to not fix the problems they knew about!!! DON'T BUY ONE OF THESE TRUCKS!!! I guess rayray I feel your pain!!!

Ford fixed my truck F450 3 weeks but got it back today, the list of parts is to long to post but every thing, short block,....and all that good stuff... One thing I notice on the way home is a whining sound from the engine that I never heard before, If I was driving one of my big trucks I would say it was a turbo but I'm not a ford tech so what do I know,... I'll tell them tomorrow. All of this could be avoided with a real "radiator" and change or bypass the "EGR Cooler" or make one that works or at least blows out instead of in to the air intake...Daaa...lol How much do the engineers make at ford...lol These guys are ether on the take from a manufacturer or 2 or there just F---ing stupid....

My F-450 blew a motor and i took it to the same small dealership i bought it from and they gave me some line about there not going to warranty the motor so 2 months later i took my truck to a bigger Ford dealership and they fixed my truck two weeks. I just hope that it dont happen again.

Ford has a warranty report card so to speak, that the dealer gets for doing warranty work. If they do a lot of warranty work they get a bad grade so the dealer doesn't like to do it because it makes them look bad with ford.... The first thing that tells me is ford is looking for someone to pass the blame off to or get the dealer to find a way to get out of doing the warranty work. This is not the ford that once was, ford used to be a great company that would stand behind there trucks and cars 110% now I think they have a bunch of been counters running the show and that will be the end of ford down the line. To bad, ford was the greatest truck money could buy and now there just another failing part of history. Henry Ford is probably turning over in his grave.

(first time was on the bay bridge with a horse trailer!!! that was fun) Now it has been towed in four times for same concern and has been down 22 days. I have been talking with a Ford rep. She informed me the lemon law doesn't apply because the truck weights over 10,000 lbs. Has anyone acctually had any luck or any suggestions?????
