Carman,

The MSRP on my deal was $32,915 for the all wheel drive sport model. Sorry about leaving that off.

Hello Car_Man,

Would you be so kind as to give me April's Money Factor and residual value for a 2013 CX-9 Touring AWD with Tech Package, for a 36 month lease with 15K miles per year in the Massachusetts South Shore area (Norwood)? Also all available incentives? Thanks in advance.

Here you go hondalicious. Chase's April buy rate lease money factor and residual value for a 36-month lease of a 2013 CX-9 Touring AWD with 15,000 miles per year in the Massachusetts area are .00006 and 52% for consumers who qualify for its top credit tier.

Mazda is providing a $2,725 cash incentive on leases of this truck in your area. Make sure to take it into account when negotiating your car's capitalized cost.

Hi Car_man:

Thanks in advance for your input and the advice you share. I'm a noob to the leasing game so please bear with me and my questions...similar to the post above. I'm looking to get an idea of what to expect.

I'm looking to get a Mazda CX-9 Touring AWD with Tech Pkg. From the internet sales person, I was shown 42 mos./12K for $419 for this model. This was a zero down deal. I assume it is for the Tier 1 clientele. I live in West Chester, Penna. Money factor and residual value were not mentioned.

So I'm clueless as to whether or not this a good deal? What kind of money factor or residual value can I expect when I go this weekend? Last question, if I don't qualify for Tier 1 clientele, am I looking at a drastically different price structure.

Your help and input is appreciated.

Ashley

Hi Ashley. There's nothing wrong with being new to leasing, but there certainly is something wrong with not researching it enough to prevent yourself from being taken advantage of. So you're off to a good start. Since you are new to leasing, you definitely should check out the following informative articles on the subject that are available here at Edmunds.com: 10 Steps to Leasing a New Car and Calculate Your Own Lease Payment.

In short, the easiest way to get a good deal on a leased vehicle is to shop around for the lowest possible selling price and then have the dealer that you decide to go with calculate your vehicle's monthly payment using its buy rate lease money factor.

Chase's April buy rate lease money factor and residual value for a 42-month lease of a 2013 Mazda CX-9 Touring AWD with 12,000 miles per year in Pennsylvania are .00006 and 53% for consumers who qualify for its top credit tier.

Yes, the money factor would be higher if your credit is not in good shape.

Good luck and let us know if you have any other questions.

#1098 of 1102 MF & Residuals for May? by hollyinfl

May 01, 2013 (1:36 pm)

I'm considering a couple of different vehicles with the Mazda CX-9 Grand Touring FWD being one of them. I don't need either the Tech Package or the Rear Seat Ent, so with a few accessories, I'm looking at $36,480 MSRP.

Does anyone have the MF and residuals for a 36-mo, 12K/yr and 15K/yr lease?

What about any incentives? I'm eligible for their loyalty program since I'd be turning in a 2010 CX-9. Any others?

Thanks!

I think I got a good deal. Can an expert confirm?

CX-9 Grand Touring, FWD, Rear Seat Ent Package, Towing Prep Package, Splash Guards, Bumper Guard, Roof Rails, and Remote Start. 36mo lease, 12K/yr. Zero Down. 1st mo payment due at delivery. Monthly payment = $480+tax.

MSRP - $38,925
Invoice - $37,303
Residual - 53%
MF - .0006
Mazda Loyalty-$1,000

Hi hollyinfl. This vehicle's lease program varies by region. Judging by your username, I'm guessing that you're in Florida . Correct me if that's not the case.

Chase's May buy rate lease money factor and residual value for a 36-month lease of a 2013 CX-9 Grand Touring FWD with 15,000 miles per year are .00006 and 52% for consumers who qualify for its top credit tier.

The residual value for a lease with 12,000 miles per year would be 1% higher.

Mazda is currently providing a solid $2,100 cash incentive on leases of this car. Make sure to take that cash into account during your negotiations.

I'm wondering what the programs are in CT right now and if this would be cheaper than an Odyssey lease?

No money down, 36mo/12k miles, CX-9 Touring for $388 per month including taxes.

Is this a good deal or should I look for better?
