I have 1200 miles on my new Mariner Hybrid and it has proven to drive 32 MPG in mixed driving conditions...some Hwy, some traffic, some city. It doesn't seem to matter. Love the car, the technology, the ride, the mpg. Couldn't be happier. Replies to this message: transpower (Aug 21, 2007 7:46 pm)

Replying to: scoutyjones (Jun 07, 2007 12:47 pm) I now have over 6000 miles on my 2008 AWD Mariner. I get between 26 and 32 mpg, depending on the circumstances. To comment on the Full Review, I replaced the stock tires with Pirelli Scorpion ATRs for much better performance--grip, braking, handling, etc. The brakes feel just fine to me, not mushy.

I've had my 2008 Mariner Hybrid awd for two weeksnow and just realized a lack of engine temp gauge (ICE). so far it is the first negative thing i can say about the vehicle. I know it has an idiot light which is going to warn me if it overheats but i like to watch the trend of temperature increase in the cooling sustem. Anybody else bothered by this deficiency?
