I, too, have the Z-71 option. At one time, I thought the rear shocks had gone bad, so I removed them to check things out. In doing this, I found the shocks to be EXTREMELY stiff. I had quite a time getting the bolts through the lower shock eyes during installation, as the shocks were very difficult to compress. I couldn't do it by hand, I had to use a floor jack!!
I'm sure that this is part of the problem, there's so little compliance in the suspension.

I just bought an 07 GMC 2500HD Sierra crew cab, and I also have the same problem with a vibration. Today the dealer had the tires re balanced with "Road Force Balance" I never heard of this I understand it's some type of new balancing machine. Not all shops have this machine.
I am very upset about all this. Why should I have to go through this after paying well over $34K for a new truck with a problem? GM knows of the problem, but they are still selling the built in problem. I would like to return my truck, and get my money back.

My 2004 colorado 4wd ext cab has a tinney vibration noise coming from the back. Dealer could not locate. Does it in neutral if give a little gas. Sounds like a loose exhaust but nothing loose there per dealer. The noise is very embarassing when others in the vehicle. Could the bed liner or tonneau cover be the cause. I am out of ideas to stop the noise.

Only 300 miles and Canyon has a vibration, actually, it's feels more like one of the front wheels is lose. Dealer says everything is tight and problem is that truck is so light in the back that gives the feeling. Happens at mostly low speeds, 5 - 40. Sure feels like something is wrong to me.

I have a light truck and it drives very smooth. Your have to keep going to the dealer and if must have the service manager drive with you and see what he thinks. That is their job. Good luck, Frank P

Just wanted to let all of you know that my vibration was coming from inside the exhaust system. Dealer replaced and the vibration is gone and I love it.
