Well, I went and test drove it and I still love the car. It was very windy so I got a good assessment of what it would be like on extreme situations. The seats were very smooth and did not hold me in place very well (I'm 5'9" 140#'s). The '07s I've sat in have better grip but perhaps that is because someone else hasn't smoothened the leather. The car was great but the seats were a little dissappointing.

I think I am going to hold off and hope that Honda will have their special lease rates soon...

Good choice, I also agree that was a bad deal for a used one when you can get a new one for a few thousand more.

There are a few of us now waiting for the next lease special. I am on Honda's website daily so lets hope its coming soon. If history repeats itself, there should be a S2K lease special in the next month or two, and possibly one again in September.

Rather than wait for special lease rates, why don't you just cut your best deal on an S2000 and buy it?

Resale values on the S2000 are exceptional and if you can get one for $30-31k new, drive it for 3+/- years and sell it for $22k +/-, you'd be hard pressed to beat that with any lease, special or not.

You make a good point. How realistic is it to buy one for around 30k? If I could get an '07 for around 30k, I would possibly consider it, but then the monthly payments would be much higher.

I've read people buying brand new S2k's for $29+change...

It is in it's final model year supposedly so deals can be had out there.
