Here in NE Ohio, the 08's are still very scarce. Most dealers have quite a few 07's in stock, but no Limiteds. I have been able to get quotes for 2008's at dealer cost without pressing the issue, but so far no one is offering to go UNDER invoice. That $37,200 deal for an 08 Limited AWD is at least $1136 under invoice (assuming no options), which isn't too bad in my book. Those Texas deals posted earlier for $3,000 to $3,800 under invoice sound so good they make me consider jumping on a plane with a one-way ticket!

Hello all. Just an update. I have found that the internet quotes from dealers work great. Currently this is the offer that I am looking at.

2007 Black Diamond Limited with Ultimate Package and Black Saddle. Floor Mats and Cross Rails

31,758 OTD (This does include the 1000 cash rebate for competive model). Considering I started with one dealer at 34,100, I would say that I am making progress.

Wow, that is a good deal! Best I have been offered for a 2007 Limited AWD (is that what your quote is for?) without the Ultimate package is $31,490 (not including tax, tags and title), in MD it comes to OTD for $33,379.50

That's a GREAT deal. Three weeks ago I purchased the same car, even same color, w/Ultimate, regular leather, with a trailer package thrown in for $32,600.

Hi,
Would you mind sharing what dealer you got that quote through or if you've found any dealers that have been more receptive to negotiating than the rest in the DC area? I'm in the hunt for the 2007 Veracruz Limited as well and it has been a slower process that I'd hoped...unfortunately, my primary car died last week and I'm crunched for time - it would be nice to get something this weekend and avoid a rental car while I keep looking and negotiating.

Most everything I've seen is about $1100 below invoice before negotiations which seems to be significantly more than the deal you've got in hand...

Also, please forgive my "newbie" question - but I'm assuming the OTD price does not include tax, title or tags but does include freight, advertising and processing fees?

Thank you for any insight you can provide!!!!

Oh wow. Well that makes a difference. The price I am quoting is for a AWD. Just got a better offer to get me to $33,200 OTD.

I don't mind helping. The quote I received is from Bob King Hyundai in Winston-Salem, NC. This is from their internet quote price and not by going to the dealer. You can request a free quote and they will send you an email. They have been a pleasure to work with and I am about a week away from purchasing. They even sent me an email to take $200 of the quote if I would purchase this weekend.

BTW, this is not the AWD and this did include Tax, Fees, etc. and the $1000 rebate for the competitive model.

Hope this helps!

Good Deal on 08 VC Limited in Texas by jbonorden

While it may not be the best deal out there, I was happy with the purchase price for our 08 VC Limited from the dealer in Texas City. We purchased ours on August 22.

$30384
$ 1586.50 tax
$ 247.92 title, license, etc
$32218.42 drive out

I don't know if it was the smartest thing, but we also threw in the extended warranty for $947.
