Did you count the features that the CR-V has that the Outlander doesn't, or is it a one-way street?
Not that I want to interfere with this discussion, but just out of curiosity, what features does the CRV have and the Outlander doesn't?
All I can think of is, heated side mirrors (EX-L only), telescopic steering wheel, conversation mirror w/sunglasses holder.

People compare all sorts of cars for all sorts of reasons. If you'd like to compare the Outlander and RDX, carry on. Otherwise, we have plenty of other discussions to pique your interest.

I compared the Outlander to the RDX. There's things I liked about the Outlander (hard drive, tailgate, mileage, storage). But in the end I bought the RDX, even at 6K more decked out to my liking. Most of that is my experience with the Acura brand, and the features of the tech package (voice nav, bluetooth, rear camera).
I plan to drive it to dust, so depreciation didn't factor so much.

RDX is nice, congrats. What was invoice and how much over invoice did you get it for?

What do you mean over invoice?
Invoice is $33475 + $670 destination = $34145 before tax, tags, title, and processing fee. I did my calculations starting $500 under that number, and the dealer took my offer pretty quickly. Tech package for $35.1K OTD.
There's a lot more information here : Prices Paid & Buying Experience

The premium gas was a killer for me.
