My apology if this should be posted somewhere else. For those of you who have driven both the Lexus LX and Toyota Sequoia, would you provide some feedbacks on both? Due to family size, I'm looking for a vehicle that has at least 7 seats. A minivan is a smart choice, but I just can't imagine myself being a "soccer dad" (not that there is anything wrong with it, just personal preference). The new Sequoia is quite roomy with great power, reliability, and price. I haven't had a chance to drive the LX, but I definitely love the toys, style, and the brand image. The only possible drawback on the LX is the limited cargo space. Just my guess. I haven't driven one, so I can't say much on this. Replying to: kiiwii (Sep 01, 2008 3:12 pm) I currently own a 2007 LX 460 and I have driven the LX 570 and the Sequoia. My preference is the LX but that is, of course, very subjective. Also the LX is quite a bit more expensive. If you need a large vehicle you can't go wrong with either one IMO.   You might also want to include the Landcruiser in the mix as it is almost identical to the LX but costs quite a bit less, plus I was offered an 08 at a big discount. Replying to: houdini1 (Sep 01, 2008 5:34 pm) I thought about the Landcruiser. It's a really nice vehicle. Personally, I think Landcruiser and Sequoia may have conflict within the Toyota fleet. Both are similar in terms of size and capacity. Landcruiser is very capable off-road, but Sequoia is bigger and less expensive. Replying to: bmlexus (Sep 14, 2008 3:38 pm) Agree. It's a tough decision. LX is such a beautiful vehicle inside and out. Sequoia is wonderful "and" inexpensive. It's not LX level, but consider the price difference.... Oh, tough decision, especially when the stingy bugs are crawling all over me =)

Replying to: mikeivan (May 17, 2008 2:36 pm) Hello,   You are the only LX570 owner that I know of on the net.   I was just wondering hows your LX.   Long time no post, be sure to tell me where you post your experience, I'd want to read them.   Btw, I still haven't got a new car, but my uncle did, the same as yours, the new LX570 white color.   As I mentioned before I was, and still am interested in the X6, but because of issues i could end up getting the new RX.   Lets see.   I hope to get your reply.   TC.
