I'd guestimate that if resale value is very important in the initial purchase decision, it might be another two or three years before it's seen as satisfactory, as this is a newly introduced model. Resale value meant nothing to me 'cause I keep a car "forever," almost until the Blue Book value equals my annual cost of insuring it!...
