Replying to: horrorshow (Apr 10, 2008 5:35 am) Toyota is giving me just under $10,000 for my truck (96' extended cab 4x4). It has been 3 weeks since I brought my truck in for inspection. A meeting has been set up for next week to sign over the truck to them and receive the check. Everyone I have dealt with has been very helpfull and they actually return my calls! But be prepared to be without a truck for about a month if you bring yours in for inspection.

I hate to tell you this otto8. I found out the company that supplies frames for Toyota's trucks and it's Dana Corporation. I believe its main office is somewhere in Ohio.

I am in the process of turning in my 99 tacoma because of the frame. But, as I am looking at other vehicles, I don't see any I want to own. Does any one know if the Toyota frame problem has been fixed? If I buy a 2007 or 2008 tacoma, will I eventually have the same problem???? Replies to this message: pdave (Apr 22, 2008 2:14 pm)
