After researching/test driving through honda civic,
toyota corolla, prius (almost went with this) I picked the Jetta.

I liked the interear an exterial the best out off all of them. Items that stood out the most for me was a large trunk capicity, hinges on door, trunk and
hood, fold down seats and cubby hole.

to be continue....

First observations :
Seatbelt on drivers side a little hard to couple. The lower end on the belt is very close to the body and it takes several tries before I actually get it coupled. This is probably due to the fact that the emergency break handle is right next to it.

Stereo : sound is not as bad as what I've read, but I don't buy a car based on it's sound system I'll waste my money on my home system instead. I must say though if your an audiophile (I am) your not going to rave about it. Mine is what came with Pkg 1. If you play around with it a bit you'll get descent sound. One thing I did notice is the sound comes from the back and no amount of tweaking can I get it to be balanced all around. I think this might have to because of speaker placement.

Feel while driving :
sipped de do da ... Turn a sharp curve if i use the right term it tracked with excitement. I going to love driving this car.

I will log to this thread a diary ... to be continued ..

Okay should have added this but I forgot.
Seats : Height adjustment (pkg 1) a pump action lever , give me a break. The dealer actually thought it was fun. I would have skipped over this if I was showing the car. Was my first bad impression of the car. Not that big a deal since me and my wife have the same adjustments.

Ditto on the lumbar adjustment, big manual turning knob on the sides of the seats. I give this an F minus. Adjustments not worth the time doesn't really make a difference.
