My CX-9 did the same thing last month. Bluetooth stopped working all of a sudden. I deleted the phones and paired them up again, but just like you, the little phone light wouldn't light up, and I couldn't make any calls. Made an appointment at the dealer, but bluetooth started working right before I brought the car in. I did bring the car in anyway, but of course the dealer found nothing wrong.

If you do take the car in, let me know what the dealer finds out.

cx9.. more issues by k1200

ok, first let me say the dealer had my car for a few days and found nothing as far as why when I shut off the vehicle the interior fan would come on for 5-10 minutes on full blast (eventually killing my battery) now keep in mind they told me to bring it in for a recall for that issue. But once there I was told they know nothing of this issue. I had the door checkers replaced , the doors are large and swing open haphazardly. The new door checkers really dont help much at all.
And now the new issue, I get in adjust the seat and drive, while I am driving I thought I felt my seat back move without my touching the button. So I parked in my back yard got out the ole video camera, put it on time lapse... and about 15 minutes after getting out the sea slowly inches completely to the upright position.
I do like the way this vehicle looks and handles , but I have to honestly say I will not buy another I will go back to the X5 or maybe X3.
And last , the loaner car was a nightmare, it was worst than a cab dirty, sticky, smelly. Never again , never again

Hello,
I recently purchased a 2008 Mazda CX-9 Sport without the Bose Centerpoint system. Does anyone know if it is possible to purchase and have the this sound system installed afterwards? If not, is anyone aware of another after market system that is comparable that can be installed?
Thanks!

Here is what I found out supposedly it is a "known" probelm that Mazda is trying to resolve however the interim solution is to take the audio fuse out (with the car turned off) for a few minutes then put it back in and re-pair the phone. I would recommmend deleting all phones before doing this. The fuse box payout is in the manual look for audio.

1. Any idea why mp3 cd's wont play? I have moonroof/bose and no navigation.
2. When I set my mirror to operate for garage door opener, original remote does not work any more. Any solution?
3. would like to know which one is better - all weather mats from Mazda or custom fit liners.

1) I can't find where in the specs it says that the Bose accepts MP3.
2) You may have done something to the garage door opener itself. Get out your Genie manual and look up how to re-program it to accept the remote.
3) I guess that depends on preference, but I like my all-weather mats; they are sturdy and clean easily.

1) my CD changer (with Bose and NAVI) reads MP3 disk. I have 2 among the 6.
2) I like the OE all weather mats, though I have not used or seen non-OE ones.

Sirius Satellite Radio for 2008 CX-9 GT by jeffm9

I own a 2008 CX-9 Grand Touring with the Navigation/radio. Does anyone know of a place to purchase the Sirius Satellite receiver other than thru a dealer. They want $650.00 for the unit and installation. Seems like alot of money to get a Satellite radio hooked up.

Thanks,

Jeff
