Yes, it is the R2 in Dice mode. I had it installed by the dealer at no charge since they were unable to get the Mazda iPod Integration to work with DVD Nav. I had the iPod installed in the glove compartment and didn't purchase the cradle. The system works as promised.

I had a Dice R2 installed as well. Unfortunately the dealer who installed it has no idea how it works. The instruction for the Dice unit leave one hell-of-a-lot to be desired. From what I understand, with Navigation and no Sirus satellite system, you're supposed to run the unit thru your SAT (button) system. Great, the sound is much better than what I had before when using the AUX port, but I have no idea how to display anything what's more change channels. How complicated can this be.

Can anybody help me?

The world is at your voice command

I’ve got a great tip for using the hands-free Bluetooth and Google Search.

Use the CX-9’s built-in address book and add “Google” to your address book. Program in the free directory assistance Google 411 phone number 1-800-466-4411. Now you can do a GOOGLE Search while driving your car, hands-free!

Now you’ll be able to use the voice CX-9’s voice recognition system to dial the Google 411 voice recognition directory assistance and search by business name or category (food, gas station, movie theatre, CVS etc).

The system will verbally list the top listings with address, connect you automatically to the business, and even send you an SMS text message to your phone if you say “Text Message”.

This is an easy way to find those Points of Interest that the built-in GPS navigation system doesn't have.

All for free without any directory assistance 411 or operated-assisted wireless carrier fees!

More tips...sure...

Always wear seat belts.

and don't give rides to strangers even if you want to show off your sexy CX-9
I'll pass them along as I discover them. I've only had the car 5 days so far.

Can I Tranfer My Previous Sirius Account by mescalero

Hello Friends, I just got my Mazda CX-9 this past Saturday and I can honestly say it a great ride with a great color (Black Cherry Mica), that turn heads. I do need some info about the Sirius Radio though, I had the Sirius Radio on my previous Truck, so when I got the CX-9, I chose not to get it. My question though, is this. Is the radio in the CX-9, Sirius Ready? Can I just tranfer my previous sirius account to this CX-9 and ask them to activate it, or do I have to get the Mazda dealer to hookup the radio to make it Sirius Ready? Please advise.

I have no answers for you since I have no experiences with sat radio.
However, I have sent Mazda several questions, and they replied with good information. So,

You need to have the Mazda Sirius DLP (downlink processor) installed in your vehicle. If this was not on the CX-9 when you bought it,you 'll need to have it installed or install it yourself. Once you have it (and the corresponding ESN), you can add it to your Sirius acct and/or delete your truck.

If you aren't sure if you have it already, just look for the small, flat antenna just above the rear hatch on the passenger side..

Thanks Guys for a quick response to my post, it good to read from knowledgable people. Tell me Maltb, this DLP is it like the flat disc attached to a lenghty wire that comes with the portable Sportster Sirius Radio Receiver, which is what I had in my old truck. If that's what it is, how do I install it to the factory radio on the CX-9.
By the way, from what I've read about the problem using iPod or any MP3 device with the factory installed Sirius Radio and the Nav System, I might just stick to the Sirius Sportstar Radio Receiver.
