The former has more wattage (if that matters to anyone) and 1 more speaker (11) than the one with Moonroof package (10 speakers). DVD Ent package and Moonroof package are exclusive to each other.

I just had the Sirius receiver installed and now my Bluetooth isn't functioning properly. It seems that the voice activation and calls are going through but I'm not getting any volume. The dealership said they would contact Mazda about the problem. I'm worried they're going to try to make me purchase a switchbox and don't feel like I should have to after spending $500 for the Sirius. How can I get the Bluetooth back up and running since it's one of my favorite and most used features? Same thing happened to me... You have to take it back and have them wire it correctly. They gave me some crap excuse about a different wiring buss. When I got the car back it was fixed including some extra scratches on the dash and now a power outlet that didn't work. Took it to another dealer and learned that they just hadn't connected it! I've never seen such clowns and what I've had to deal with on this audio system. My advise...just go to another dealer...and don't bother with the one your using now! PS: You won't be able to use your i-pod connector anymore unless you fork out another $200 for another black box.

Replying to: atlmazda (Jan 08, 2008 5:04 pm) My CX-9 came with Sirius already installed, and Bluetooth didn't work from the get-go, i.e. same problem as you (no volume). Dealership's demo had the same issue, and they had to bring in the Mazda dudes to figure it out---in the end, they had to install an additional wire/connector on the harness at the back, and that made their demo work. Mine goes in next week...hopefully my issue is the same as theirs, since they never actually took a look at the car.   I had already bought a switching box to make the ipod work, and I asked the dealership to install it for free since I've had the car for over 2 months while waiting for this issue to be resolved. Hopefully it won't take 2 months for your bluetooth to get back in the game.   And let me just say that Mazda really screwed the pooch with their audio system. All these additional "boxes" that have to be installed to make things work properly, it's like they wen't shopping for the clearance items at Kmart. They said it would take a couple of days. They seemed to be quite familiar with this problem but didn't know how to fix said problem. Replying to: imamg (Mar 13, 2008 8:51 am) Sorry for the long response time. I do have full control of the iPod now, to include the steering wheel controls. I would say the main strength comes from being able to skip forward or backward in a playlist from the steering wheel controls. It claims to be able to change playlists and artists but I haven't master the complicated system yet. It is just easier to select these choices using the iPod itself. Hope this helps.
