The dealership told me it was 300 dollars to replace it. I told them to just "fix it" not replace it. They told me there was no fixing it, it has to be removed and replaced with a brand new one. They told me it was not a defect, and that the seatbelt spool had been designed that way for the child seat installation. I think that this type of seatbelt design is dangerous.
